Riding on the demand for shawarma among Filipino foodies, the former restaurant manager from the Middle East decided to open his own food business, JM’s Dubai Shawarma, once he came back home to the Philippines. This will later become JM’s Shawarma, which first started operations in Polomolok, South Cotabato. It opened its first branch in Kidapawan City, and has since grown to more than 25 branches in Mindanao.

JM’s Shawarma offers Middle Eastern food fare with a Filipino twist to give you the best-tasting shawarma. It boasts of regular and all-meat shawarma wraps, shawarma noodles, and shawarma rice Filipinos instantly fell for JM’s Shawarma, thanks to its sweet and spicy beef, topped with its freshly-made signature garlic sauce and perfectly-blended cream cheese—definitely a flavorful combination to crave for!

Both coming from the Food Industry, a former Middle East Restaurant Manager and an Area Manager of one of the biggest fastfood chain in the Philippines, two siblings decided to create a concept out of their passion in creating great tasting food. Capitalizing on their more than a decade of experience in the food industry, JM Shawarma was born with Superior Taste combined by love and great expertise that you will surely crave everyday.

They opened their first store in Kidapawan City in Mindanao. The initial plan was just to open few stores enough to support the family. Yet, when inquiries about franchising from friends, families and customers continuously intensified everyday, they finally decided to open to franchising last 2016. Duplicating their success through franchising is buidling not only their dreams but also the dreams of every Filipino who wanted to be like them; shifting from being an employee to now being their own boss.
