About Binalot Franchise

Filipinos love to eat, which explains why practically every major global food brand is in the country; fast food brands, especially. These international franchises and their local imitations dominate. Filipino dining taste, in turn, has become very Western.

It was this way until a band of young entre-Pinoys realized, in 1996, that the Philippines has as much to contribute to the culinary world as burgers & french fries, pizzas & spaghettis, plastic spoons & styropacks. Their Filipino pride pursued the rebirth of Pinoy classics - adobo & bistek, tapa & tocino, sisig & longganisa, even salted egg & tomato against the onslaught of “Colonel Sanders, Ray Krock and his jolly clone”.

Their flash of inspiration led to the re-discovery of an age-old but very clever Filipino dining practice much better than styro lunch packs – banana leaves! Equally clever, their “banana insight” inspired the birth of BINALOT Fiesta Foods.

Franchise Application Process

First Step
Franchise applicant submits a Letter of Intent together with his resume and a vicinity map of the proposed site, if any.

Second Step
Franchise applicant undergoes a preliminary interview.  If favorable, he takes a franchise suitability test.

Franchisor inspects the proposed location.  Franchisor may also present a list of sites to the Franchise applicant.

If the site passes the basic evaluation process, franchise applicant gives a reservation fee of PHP20,000 for Metro Manila and PHP40,000 for provincial areas, covering a 30-day period.   Note that the reservation fee is transferable to another location and deductible from the franchisee fee; however, it is non-refundable.

Franchise applicant conducts a market study which is later on validated by the Franchisor.

Third Step
Site approval is secured.

The Business Development Officer presents to Franchise Applicant the financial projections and investment estimates.

Final Step
Franchise applicant signs a Memorandum of Agreement and Franchise Agreement.
