8teal Tea House is a local milk tea shop established in February 2019 by a young entrepreneur, Julia Nel G. Catamco, at Kidapawan City, North Cotabato.

Before opening a business, she worked in a government office, and even though the opportunity was great, there wasn’t much more room for growth (so as a fresh graduate). She always craved financial freedom and self-reliance. Knowing she has her family’s full support, she decided to venture into business.

She saw more of an opportunity rather than the risk in business. At that time, there were only a few milk tea stores in the city, so she thought it’d be easier to venture into the market and capture the millennial market. To her surprise, they became the most famous milk tea in town that attracted a lot of interest for franchising.

She named her business 8tea 1. she chooses 8 and 1, which were her two lucky numbers, infinity for 8 and 1 for being on top. 8teal logo contains the owner’s initial name, “Jul.”

Currently, 8teal has two (2) company-owned branches located at Kidapawan City and Municipality of Kabacan, North Cotabato.
